Robot factory 2023 - 2025
In order to meet the regional and national demand for qualified specialists in the field of robotics, Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) has developed the "Robot Factory" concept in cooperation with the Roberta RegioZentrum of the Hannover Region and the Hannover Region Employment Promotion Agency.
Consistent training concept from school to university
The aim of the robot factory is to develop an integrated training concept that bridges the gap between school and robotics studies at LUH. Cooperation with industrial partners will also enable the strategic linking of school, university and industry.
The success of the roboterfabrik project is to be continued in the future. In addition to the continuation of ongoing activities, the focus in the years 2023 to 2025 will be on
- greater involvement of companies in the region in the activities of the roboterfabrik
- the development of new technical enhancements to reflect the current state of the art in industry and research
- further increasing the proportion of women within the courses offered in order to make STEM degree programs more attractive to girls.
